We are seeking to appoint a special person who is enthusiastic, hardworking, caring and dedicated, to join us to work with children with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) and with social communication difficulties.
You will need to be flexible, adaptable, resourceful and patient as the role will be varied and demanding but also very rewarding.
Good literacy, numeracy and communication skills, along with a commitment to work as part of a team are essential. Whilst previous experience would be an advantage, we are looking for a person who is able to build good relationships with children. You will be able to positively manage their behaviour and individual needs and help them access learning in a mainstream environment. Full training will be offered as required by the successful candidate.

- is able to provide written and verbal feedback to the class teacher as required
- understands the importance of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures

Hours are 18.5 per week (9:30am to 12:30pm on five days with 2 afternoons 1:30pm to 3:15pm)
This role is initially fixed term until 31st August 2026 with a potential to be extended beyond that date.
