Job Introduction
We require an enthusiastic, creative and highly effective part time teacher who ideally has special school experience, although we would consider colleagues wishing to join from mainstream, to join our excellent teaching team for September 2025. Experience & knowledge of children with a range of special educational needs would be ideal but not essential. Alongside a love of children, keen interest and a willingness to learn about children with a range of learning difficulties, ability to think outside the box, a high level of resilience and commitment to making a difference.
Shepherds Down Special School is a primary school for children with learning difficulties, currently with 196 children on roll.
