Job Advert Class Teacher – Maternity Cover - Key Stage 1 (Y2), part-time (0.4)
The Governors are seeking to appoint a highly capable and inspirational part-time Class Teacher to join our Key Stage 1 teaching team on a fixed term contract. This is a fixed term contract to cover maternity leave in Year 2. We seek a motivated professional with exceptional teaching skills to further drive high standards of attainment at our successful school. The successful candidate will have teaching experience in Key Stage 1, ideally in Year 2, underpinned by a clear vision for improving pupils’ life chances.
This is a part-time teaching position, for 2 days per week, to start as soon as possible. It is a fixed term contract, working in a job-share on Thursdays and Fridays.

The successful candidate will:
• have a proven track record of improving outcomes for pupils;
• have a strong background in Key Stage 1, ideally within Year 2;
• be able to plan, prepare and adapt teaching methods and resources to suit the specific needs of the pupils;
• have excellent interpersonal qualities, underpinned by a firm vision for improving outcomes for children;
• be passionate about implementing a stimulating, tidy and attractive learning environment for pupils;
• have a sense of humour;
• be a practising Catholic or committed to being sympathetic to our Catholic values and ethos;
• place the children at the heart.
