We are seeking to appoint a talented Teacher of Geography to join our innovative and dynamic team. This an exciting opportunity to join The Hamble School. Our vision ‘We Care, We Aim High, We Learn and Achieve Together’ encapsulates the work we do every day. Our intake numbers are increasing – we currently have 1,090 students. We have been recently graded as ‘Good’ in all areas by Ofsted and we are continuing to ensure that we provide the very best education for all our students.
The Geography Department consists of a dedicated team of experienced staff. It is well-resourced with a number of specialist classrooms within the Humanities building. Our aim is to deliver an inspiring and challenging curriculum, which includes fieldwork and the development of key geographical skills. At GCSE option numbers are high and students currently study the AQA specification.
We are seeking to appoint a talented and enthusiastic Teacher of Geography, with willingness to teach across the Humanities subjects, who is passionate about improving student outcomes and can employ a wide range of dynamic teaching and learning strategies to inspire students. The successful candidate will collaborate on curriculum development, have high expectations of and embrace the whole school culture.
