Job/Person Summary

We wish to employ an enthusiastic, ambitious and dynamic Maths teacher who will join a strong team of specialists. The post would be suitable for either an ECT or more experienced teacher. A new dedicated Maths block was opened in September 2021 and this provides staff and students with a first class learning and teaching environment. As a teacher at CPS you must be an excellent classroom practitioner with student learning and engagement at the core of your principles. You will have a good knowledge of the Maths curriculum and the requirements of GCSE examinations. You will also have the desire to work with students who have bright aspirations and inquisitive minds. Start date: 1 September 2025.

We reserve the right to close a vacancy earlier than the advertised date if we receive applications that meet the criteria.

We welcome flexible working.

Prior to interview, an online search will be conducted to identify any past or current incidents or issues that might affect your suitability to work with children and undertake this role. This is in line with guidance in Keeping Children Safe in Education. Please note this online search will be carried out only on publicly available information and be limited to issues relating to your suitability to work with children and/or in a school environment. Issues that arise will not automatically be a bar to your employment at this school.
