Job Introduction

Class Teacher (MPR) – Fixed Term (Autumn Term)

An exciting opportunity has arisen for a qualified and enthusiastic teacher to join our dedicated team at Bishop’s Waltham Junior School.

This full-time, temporary position is for the Autumn Term, based in Year 3 as part of a three-form entry team. The successful candidate will work collaboratively with colleagues to plan and deliver high-quality teaching and learning, ensuring all pupils are supported to achieve their very best.

Depending on staffing circumstances, there may be the opportunity for this role to continue from January 2027 on a part-time or full-time basis.

We are seeking a passionate and experienced educator who:

  • Holds Qualified Teacher Status and is currently working within the Main Pay Range (this post is not suitable for Early Career Teachers)
  • Has a strong commitment to high standards of teaching and learning
  • Enjoys working collaboratively as part of a supportive team
  • Can inspire, motivate and support pupils to achieve their full potential
  • Demonstrates strong classroom practice and effective behaviour management
  • Is committed to inclusive practice and meeting the needs of all learners
