Join Our Springwood Family as a 1:1 Teaching Assistant
Springwood prides itself for its strong safeguarding culture
Both schools in the Springwood Federation are proudly rated ‘Good’ by Ofsted and it is no surprise. Our staff are passionate, dedicated, and always striving to make a lasting difference for every child. As Ofsted noted at our Junior School inspection (July 2022), “Springwood is an inclusive school, where everyone is welcome.” Our Infant School inspection (October 2023) echoed the same spirit: “Staff go above and beyond to make school a successful experience for everyone.”
We are now looking for an enthusiastic and compassionate Teaching Assistant (1:1) to support one or more children with EHCPs within our nurturing and inclusive environment. With a high number of SEND pupils, we are seeking someone who brings creativity, resilience and a reflective approach to their practice. If you believe every child deserves the chance to shine, you will fit right in.
We are looking for someone who:
- Brings positivity, flexibility and resilience to their work
- Is enthusiastic, motivated and ready to make a real difference
- Has a warm, friendly and consistent approach to learning and behaviour
- Can help children develop social skills and positive peer interactions
- Stays calm and solution-focused under pressure
- Can work independently and use their initiative
- Has strong organisational and time management skills
- Maintains accurate records with attention to detail
- Understands and upholds confidentiality and safeguarding responsibilities
At Springwood, you will be joining a warm, collaborative team who genuinely support one another. We offer a wide range of CPD opportunities to help you develop your skills and flourish professionally. Our staff are committed to creating an environment where children and adults can thrive.
And one thing is for sure: there is never a dull moment! If you are someone who brings energy, enthusiasm and a good sense of humour to your work, we would love to hear from you.
