We are looking for experienced TA’s to join our team. We are seeking practitioners who are highly motivated and able to carry out a mixture of roles, from supporting individuals or small groups to working with the class teacher to support pupils within class. Our TAs not only work with pupils needing additional support but work alongside the teachers to deliver high quality support in lessons for all pupils. Responsibilities will also require you to prepare activities and resources in consultation with the class teacher and SENDCo.
Applicants will ideally:
● Be committed to supporting individual children's social, moral, emotional and academicwell-being
● Has an empathetic understanding of children’s emotions and behaviour and activelyseeks to remove barriers to learning
● Be patient, cheerful and understanding
● Have good interpersonal skills
● Be full of innovative ideas and strategies to adapt to daily challenges
● Communicate effectively with children, team members and the wider community
● Have the ability to use your own initiative and to work as part of a team
● Be calm, consistent and fair – ensuring that children are safe and happy
● Be able to deal confidently with challenging behaviour
● Have a good basic education (English and Maths GCSE grade C or above is desirable)
