Teaching Assistant KS2 - with lunch time midday supervisory assistant role

Job Introduction

We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic and dedicated person as a Learning Support Assistant.  You must be passionate about making a difference to children’s progress and attainment to join our team for a one year fixed term position in the first instance. You will be supporting children within a KS2 class, in small groups or individually, as directed by class teachers.

Applicants should:

  • ideally have previous, recent experience of working in a school setting or working with Children

  • have a calm  disposition with a good sense of humour

  • have a positive approach that supports the schools visions and values

  • have strong interpersonal skills with children and adults

  • be a team player with a professional attitude

  • be able to implement clear boundaries and routines

  • be able to work independently and with initiative

  • have good English, Maths and IT skills
