Job/Person Summary
Bishop's Waltham Junior is seeking to appoint an enthusiastic, resourceful and conscientious Teaching Assistant who will join the school team and make a real impact in the classroom setting. The successful candidate will work in partnership with the Y5 class teacher, supporting groups and individuals from across the class/year group, assisting with assessment and reviewing pupil progress. In addition, they will work closely with our SENDCo and class teachers to help in the preparation and delivery of intervention programmes.
We are looking to appoint a candidate who has:
- A kind, caring and supportive nature
- A genuine passion and desire to work in schools
- Competent levels of English and maths
- Previous experience of working with pupils with SEN (desirable but not essential)
- Good time management and organisational skills
- Good interpersonal skills
- A positive mindset / good energy and enthusiasm
- Effective communication skills (Including liaising closely with parents)

HOURS OF WORK:
5 mornings / 3 afternoons (Monday/Wednesday/Thursday)
