Salary Type: Main Pay Range, Grade C1, £25,186

Salary Details: Actual salary based on 39 weeks is £8,934.72

Hours of Work: Monday - Friday 8:30am to 12:00pm, 17.5 hours per week

Job/Person Summary

We are looking for an enthusiastic addition to our team, to work at Netley Marsh CE Infant School and become part of the Oaks CE Learning Federation.

We are looking for someone who is keen to work with children in groups and individually supporting learning - both emotionally and academically and is willing to work across all year groups in our Infant School.   

The successful applicant will:

  • have patience and nurturing while maintaining high expectations for behaviour
  • be positive, calm and caring and able to sensitively support children
  • be able to set and stick to boundaries
  • have a passion for children's academic and social progress and wellbeing
  • support children's social and emotional development and show empathy and understanding
  • to be enthusiastic, self-motivated, creative and able to use their initiative
  • be committed to working as part of a team that has a 'can do' attitude
  • understand confidentially and safeguarding
