Teaching Assistant

Job Introduction

Teaching Assistant – 30.83 hours per week, Monday to Friday – 39 weeks per annum (less hours/days also considered)

Required for September 2026

We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to join our vibrant classroom team, supporting students with a wide range of special educational needs. If you have a passion for helping young people thrive and enjoy seeing students grow in confidence, this role offers a genuinely rewarding opportunity.

While previous experience in an educational setting or working with young people is desirable, what matters most is your commitment, positivity, and willingness to learn. You’ll be joining a forward‑thinking, supportive department where the focus is firmly on the education, wellbeing, and personal development of every student. The ability to deliver small-group reading interventions aligned with whole-school literacy goals would be an advantage.

This position is ideal for someone considering a future career in teaching and looking to gain hands‑on experience in a nurturing, collaborative environment.
