 TEACHING ASSISTANT

Fixed Term (following a named child) 

Mon to Fri 8.45am-3.15pm (30 hours per week - includes lunchtime supervision)

Grade: B or C (dependent on experience) - Term time only 

Start date: March 2026

We are looking to appoint a teaching assistant to join our EYFS team at St Thomas’ Infant School and be the named keyperson for a specific child. The role involves working alongside the class teacher, supporting specific individuals and working with small groups of children. Other duties include play and lunchtime supervision. Successful applicants should be flexible, good communicators who enjoy working as part of a team, as well as being able to use their own initiative. In return we can offer:

 Previous experience of working in a school is desirable but not essential as training will be provided.
