At Pennington CE Primary School, we are seeking a talented and passionate class teacher to join our Year 6 team. This role will work alongside the Deputy Headteacher, helping to release leadership time while providing high-quality teaching and targeted support to ensure all learners – particularly those with SEND and SEMH needs – achieve their full potential.
This is a unique opportunity for a teacher who is passionate about inclusion and is committed to ensuring that no child is left behind, particularly those who are at risk of not achieving Age Related Expectations by the end of Key Stage 2.
The role will involve:
- Teaching within Year 6 in partnership with the Deputy Headteacher
- Supporting pupils with additional needs to access learning successfully
- Delivering targeted interventions for children working below ARE
- Championing inclusive practice and high expectations for all
