North Baddesley Junior School is a popular three-form entry over-subscribed school set in a semi-rural area.
Is your passion to inspire children, build their resilience, positivity and independence to help them achieve success? Can you motivate and lead staff, instilling passion and supporting colleagues to raise standards even higher? As a year leader you will be responsible for driving the teaching and learning in your year team, and share good practice across the entire Key Stage. This position will come with full time class teacher responsibility with dedicated leadership time to carry out year leader commitments.
Applicants may already be an existing year leader or be ready to take the next step in their career. Sombody with ealry years and Key stage 1 who can strengthen the teaching of phonics across the school would be welcomed. A secondment would be considered for someone wanting to expand their experience and leadership in a new setting.
The successful applicant will be committed to high standards in teaching and learning in their own practice. Our teachers all take their PPA together in year teams and we are fully committed to CPD and utilising your skills to the maximum.

The application process will involve evaluation of the personal statement, an interview with a panel including governors, an observation and a selection of tasks typical of the year leader role.
