Salary: Grade B £24,027 FTE (Pro Rata)
Contract:
26 hours per week
(39 weeks per year) (38 weeks plus 5x INSET Days)

Admin Assistant Vacancy
We are looking for an exceptional Admin Assistant to join our school team. This is a front-facing role where you will be one of the first friendly faces that parents, pupils, and visitors see when they enter our school. If you have excellent communication skills, a strong eye for detail, and a passion for organisation and digital technology, we would love to hear from you!
Key Responsibilities:
Be a warm and professional first point of contact for parents, pupils, and staff.
Provide first aid support to children as required.
Maintain and manage our Arbor (MIS) system efficiently.
Act as the Google Drive administrator, ensuring smooth digital file management for the school.
Keep our school website and internal Google Site up to date with important information for staff and parents.
Manage and update digital signage around the school.
Write and publish a weekly newsletter and school blog.
Work closely with teachers to capture and share school life through photography.
Promote the school effectively on social media, including Instagram, Facebook, and our WhatsApp channel.
What We Are Looking For:
Strong interpersonal and communication skills – confident in engaging with parents, staff, and pupils.
A high level of competence in IT and digital systems.
Experience in managing websites and social media.
Strong organisational skills with the ability to multi-task.
A proactive approach and ability to work independently.
A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
Working Hours:
The role requires a start time of 8:15am to support the beginning of the school day. The finish time is 4:00pm or 4:30pm (3 days per week), depending on club schedules, plus one morning finishing at lunchtime. Some flexibility may be possible for the right candidate.
