We are currently looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Administrative Assistant to support in our Eduk8 department.
The EDUK8 Inclusion Unit is seeking a highly organised and compassionate Administration Assistant to provide vital support for our inclusion team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the welfare of students across the school through administrative excellence and compassionate communication.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing inclusion attendance and conducting regular welfare checks
- Coordinating safeguarding meetings and maintaining confidential records
- Handling parental communication and providing initial support via telephone and in person
- Completing essential administrative tasks for the inclusion unit
- Liaising with external agencies and support services
- Preparing and formatting reports on student progress and intervention
The successful candidate will be:
- Confident and have a positive approach to working with children
- Keen to learn and develop professionally
- Able to work on their own initiative
- Pro-active team member, committed to raising standards and achievements
- Have a passion for education and raising the achievement of all children
Previous experience of work in a school and a working knowledge of Arbor would be a significant advantage but is not an essential requirement. Excellent communication and ICT skills and the ability to work well as part of a team are essential.
