Salary:  £ 14,698 - £14,895 Actual (£24,796 - £25,128 FTE) Term time plus 1 week

Hours of Work: 25 hours per week, 8:15 – 1:15 Monday to Friday

 

Job/Person Summary

The Federation of Netley Abbey Infants and Juniors are looking to appoint a highly effective and flexible Admin Assistant to join our team.  We are seeking a hands-on, motivated individual to fulfil this key role within the school. You will demonstrate excellent interpersonal skills and the confidence and willingness to work with the whole school community, becoming fully involved in all aspects of school life. You will be skilled in managing the wide range of tasks needed and have the administrative background necessary to support the Senior Administrative Officer and other members of the admin team. 

 

We are looking for someone who:

 

  • ideally has experience of working in a school or busy office
  • is organised and a good communicator
  • is proficient in their use of office programs and management information systems
  • has experience of basic financial payment procedures to handle cash and record financial transactions
  • has a First Aid qualification, or is willing to undertake training
  • is committed to continuous professional development
  • is resilient, flexible and resourceful and is able to think on their feet
  • has attention to detail
  • knows to expect the unexpected
  • has ability to operate independently overtime; once operationally effective
  • is nurturing and caring
