After School Club Assistant

We are currently looking to recruit an After School Club Assistant to work in our expanding After School Club. The club takes children from both the Infant and Junior Schools.

The successful member of staff will require a food hygiene certificate – level 2 (which can be obtained after interview and arranged by the school, but completed as soon as possible).

We are looking for someone who:

  • Enjoys working with children
  • Can assist in the organisation of the club and prepare activities
  • Can prepare refreshments in a safe and hygienic environment
  • Can carry out all responsibilities whilst working within agreed policies and safeguarding procedures
  • Ensures the safety of the children at all times
  • Is flexible to cover during staff absence if required

The role involves:

  • Welcoming children into the After School Club
  • Dealing with parental enquiries
  • Planning and developing activities for the children
  • Developing children’s play and social skills
  • Ensuring children get to the After School Club at the end of the school day
  • Clearing away of equipment.

 

 

Grade C

Term time only

Days: 4 days per week - Monday,Tuesday,Wednesday and Thursday 3.15pm – 6pm

11 hours per week
