Apprentice ICT Technician

Contract/Hours:  Permanent, Full-time / 37 hours per week

Salary Details:  Grade A - £23,473 

Closing Date: Midday, 22 July 2025

 

Job/Person Summary

We are looking for a highly motivated and committed individual to join the College as an Apprentice ICT technician to assist the ICT Manager with providing first-line technical support, maintaining ICT hardware and software systems and support various administrative and operational tasks related to the College’s ICT needs.  This role will involve hands on technical work as well as trouble shooting.  The ideal candidate will have:

 

  • Strong IT skills and the ability to troubleshoot a variety of hardware and software issues.
  • A proactive, enthusiastic approach to problem solving.
  • A passion for working in an educational environment
  • Excellent communication skills to assist staff and students
