Assistant Attendance Officer

Job Introduction

37 hours per week – term time only (39 weeks).

8.00am - 4.00pm (Monday-Thursday) and 8.00am – 3.30pm (Friday)

Salary: - HCC Grade C FTE £26,018 - £27,111 (Actual £22,255.44 - £23,190.36)

We are looking to recruit an Assistant Attendance Officer to join our dynamic Pastoral Support Team as soon as possible.

The successful candidate will:

support the daily management of pupil attendance
ensure attendance records are accurate, registers are completed promptly and unexplained absences are followed up
make daily attendance calls
investigate and resolve attendance anomalies
work with the Attendance Officer and pastoral team to identify concerns and support improved attendance and punctuality
