The Hamble School is seeking to appoint an exceptional Assistant Headteacher to join our highly successful Senior Leadership Team. This post is pivotal to ensuring we continue to build upon our recent successes and deliver the very best educational experience for all students.

The Role

The successful candidate will join the Senior Leadership Team with strategic responsibility for key aspects of the school's wider curriculum and digital strategy.

Areas of responsibility will include:

Personal Development and Student Leadership

Leading the continued development of provision that promotes students' personal growth, character education, leadership opportunities and preparation for life beyond school.

Enrichment and Wider Opportunities

Providing strategic leadership for a broad and inclusive programme of enrichment activities, educational visits, community engagement and wider learning experiences that support students to develop their talents and interests.

Transition and Student Support

Overseeing initiatives that support student wellbeing, successful transition into secondary education and effective provision for students requiring alternative pathways to success.

Digital Strategy and Innovation

Leading the school's development of innovative and emerging technologies, ensuring digital opportunities enhance teaching, learning and operational effectiveness.

Leadership and Staff Development

Managing a portfolio of curriculum and pastoral leaders, supporting them to secure excellent outcomes for students and contribute to the school's strategic priorities.

Whole-School Leadership

As a member of the Senior Leadership Team, contributing fully to the strategic direction of the school, leading key events and initiatives, and working closely with governors, staff, students and Parents/ Carers to further improve outcomes for all.
