Job Introduction
We are looking for an energetic, enthusiastic, highly motivated individual to join our Site Services Team. The role provides support for staff and visitors to the School carrying out tasks relating to the caretaking and maintenance of the school premises and the grounds. We need a confident outgoing staff member who is able to work on their own initiative and able to support others.
The successful candidate will be working closely, and in harmony with the entire school community to ensure that high levels of maintenance and tidiness are visible around our large site.
Moving and handling is an essential part of this role, as is a good humoured, patient and flexible approach to the job and its challenges.
If you have experience and skill in DIY, are organised and can follow instructions but still manage your own tasks, and would like to work in a busy but supportive environment, we would love to hear from you.
The school is committed to professional development and is prepared to facilitate an appropriate apprenticeship for the successful candidate if they would like to pursue one in this role.
Application forms and further details are available on our website www.mountbatten.school, or by contacting human.resources@mountbatten.school or Tel: 01794 510227.
