Exam Invigilator – Alderwood Senior School

 

Alderwood School is seeking to employ Exam Invigilators to assist the Examinations Officer with the administration and supervision of examinations on site ensuring all Examining Boards’ Rules are adhered to.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Administer and invigulate exams in a fair and unbiased manner
  • Ensure exam takers adhere to exam rules and regulations
  • Monitor exam takers to prevent cheating or misconduct
  • Maintain a quiet and controlled testing environment
  • Collect and organise exam materials before and after each session
  • Report any irregularities or issues that arise during the exam to management

 

Experience:

  • Previous experience as an invigilator or in a similar role is preferred but not required
  • Familiarity with UK exam procedures and protocols is a plus
  • Excellent attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately
  • Strong communication skills to interact with test takers effectively
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations

 

Contract/Hours:  Various as required. There are generally two sessions per day, 8.30am-11.30am & 12.45pm-3.30pm. Availability throughout May and June is essential.

 

Salary details: £12.21ph
