Position Start Date: Once all relevant employment checks completed

Contract/Hours: To provide ad-hoc cover for training and occasional sickness absence, flexibility is required

Salary Details: C1 £13.05p/h

Hours of Work: Varied hours covering weekdays - Monday to Friday 8.20am-3.20pm

Our fantastic Behaviour & Learning Support Assistant Team are looking to recruit an individual interested in supporting us with ad-hoc cover for training and occasional sickness absence. This role will be working with pupils who are part of the well-established Social Emotional and Mental Health (SEMH) and Autistic Spectrum Condition (ASC) resource provisions and pupils across the federation.

We are looking for someone who is:

• Ideally experienced in learning support interested in working with pupils with SEMH needs and pupils with ASC needs

• Highly inclusive and able to work within the ethos of ‘every day is a fresh start’ and to not bear a grudge

• Flexible and adaptable

• Able to use their initiative

• Capable of dealing with challenging situations

• Able to work effectively with staff across the schools

• Able to build a good rapport with children across the Primary phase from Nursery – Year 6
