Job Introduction
Due to the continued growth of Marnel Infant School and an increasing demand for our outreach support work with other schools, we are looking to appoint a new teacher to join our team from September. This is an exciting opportunity to become part of a school that not only provides exceptional experiences for its own children, but also extends its expertise beyond the school gates to support the wider community.
This post would be particularly suitable for an Early Career Teacher or someone in the early stages of their teaching career. We are looking for the right person to join our dedicated and supportive team. The successful candidate will work within either EYFS or Key Stage One, as our teaching staff move flexibly between the two key stages.
Marnel Infant School is an oversubscribed, four-form entry infant school with excellent resources and facilities. There are many things that make our school distinct, and we would be delighted to share these with you through our application pack or during a visit.
We are incredibly proud of our children, who have a genuine love of learning. Our Ofsted report (March 2023) highlighted our strong focus on developing the whole child, demonstrated through initiatives such as our ‘100 Things to Do Before You Leave Marnel Infants’:
‘Leaders have prioritised pupils’ character development through an exceptionally rich range of experiences… There is a culture of inclusivity and celebration at the school. Leaders’ ambition for all pupils is unmissable… making this a quite exceptional school.’
‘Leaders have created a culture where everyone wants to be their best in everything they do. Their good work extends beyond the school gates and into the community. Staff feel incredibly proud.’
As a new member of our staff team, you will be fully supported. Both the Head of School and Inclusion Managers are out of class and available to provide guidance through team teaching and paired observation.
