Salary Type: EHCC / Support Staff
Salary Details: EHCC Grade A, Step 3, Pro-rata F.T.E. E24,521, Hourly rate £12.71
Hours of work: 10 hours per week, 7.00 - 9.00 am (52 weeks a year)

Job/Person Summary
We have a vacancy for a school cleaner to help continue to maintain high standards of cleanliness in our school.
You will be a key part of a small team undertaking a full range of cleaning duties, managed on a day to day basis by the site manager adhering to Health & Safety procedures and regulations.
The role which is fixed term is for 2 hours per day, Monday - Friday from 7am – 9 am.
The successful candidate will:
- Have high standards of cleaning
- Take pride in their work to ensure that children have a clean and safe school in which to learn
- Be able to work individually and as part of a team
- Be reliable, hardworking and flexible
Duties will include
- Cleaning allocated area(s) within designated time: to include hoovering carpeted areas; mopping/polishing hard floors; glass cleaning, dusting/damp surface cleaning; high level cleaning; toilet cleaning
- Stock control
- Adhering to all relevant health and safety procedures and risk assessments including COSHH
The successful candidate will be required to work outside the normal working day, Monday-Friday, 52 weeks per year. There will be a requirement to work during term-time and also during school holiday periods (when hours will be ‘blocked’ together to meet the deep cleaning needs of the school).
Experience would be an advantage, although full training and support will be provided.
