Part Time - Permanent Position
Abbotswood Junior School is a happy and caring school that helps children recognise ‘It Really Does Matter’.
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our cleaning team. We need someone who takes pride in their work, has high standards and is passionate about providing our children with a clean and safe place to learn.
This is a part-time position of 17.5 hours per week (3.5 hours per day), 52 weeks per year, at Salary Grade A – £25,025 FTE.
We can offer flexible working hours, with the 3.5 hours able to be worked either first thing in the morning or after school - whichever works best for you!
Experience an advantage but not essential.
The successful candidate will need to carry out a range of defined cleaning duties within a specified area such as:
Vacuuming carpeted areas
Sweeping and mopping hard areas
Cleaning sinks and toilets
Cleaning internal glass
Dusting high and low areas
Refilling soap and antibacterial products
Emptying classroom bins
You will be required to carry out the role observing any necessary health and safety requirements, including moving and lifting of furniture and equipment.
