We are pleased to be able offer a new fixed term opportunity to supplement the fantastic team here at Baycroft to start in September 25.
We are looking to appoint a Cover Supervisor who will be responsible for delivering pre-planned lessons in the absence of the class teacher. The most important qualities in you will be flexibility, optimism, a great sense of humour and a relentless ambition for young people with SENDs to achieve and progress. In return we will ensure that you are provided with quality induction and CPD, a supportive and fun team of over 80 colleagues and no two days the same. The very wide range of needs in our 190+ students means that you will have experiences and opportunities not only to change the lives of our amazing young people throughout the year, but to grow and develop in yourself, experiencing the deeply rewarding world of special education. The cover supervisor will become an integral part of the wider team and our behaviour management systems will always ensure that they are supported during cover lessons if needed.
This post is for a one year fixed term contract, with a strong possibility that this contract would be extended at the end of the fixed term period.
A minimum of 5 GCSEs including English and Maths is required on application.
