Miss Polly’s, The Hurst Nursery (Employed by Hampshire County Council).
Role- Deputy Nursery Manager 37 hours per week 52 weeks per year
(negotiable for the right candidate)
Start date – ASAP
Grade D -£26,918
A minimum of 5 years Nursery experience and a Level 3 childcare qualification is essential for this role. One year’s Nursery management experience is required for this position. (e.g., Room Leader). Excellent knowledge of child development and early years foundation stage is essential for this role.
Forest school training is preferred but not essential.
We are looking for a candidate with strong leadership skills who will build on the great foundation already in place and drive the Nursery forward. Candidates must have great communication skills, reliability and able to work using their own initiative, further personal specifications can be found in the job description.
Miss Polly’s is a thriving 47 place Nursery for children aged 6 weeks to 5 years. We have 3 rooms, a baby room, toddler room and a preschool room all with well-equipped gardens. The Nursery is based in the grounds of The Hurst Secondary School which it has strong links with.
