DESIGN & TECHNOLOGY TECHNICIAN 

Full -time (Part-time could be considered)

43 week contract (for experienced candidate)

Salary Grade D FTE £26,918 - £29,616 p.a.

Required September 2025

We are seeking an enthusiastic, experienced technician or “creative, practical person” to provide support to our Design & Technology Department. The successful candidate will be expected to manage, maintain and prepare materials in readiness for lessons across the Faculty and support the D&T staff in delivering the curriculum, by supporting lessons and facilitating the use of specialist tools and machinery. The successful candidate will need to be organised, forward thinking competent in the use of basic IT programmes (email, word, excel) and work well with both staff and students of all abilities.
