We are excited to be able to appoint an enthusiastic, inspirational and dedicated ECT to join the team in our lovely school in the heart of beautiful Hampshire.

 

We are a Christian school where our values of Friendship, Respect, Achievement and Faith guide everything that we do. We are proud of our nurturing ethos and our absolute dedication to providing the best support for each individual child within our vibrant school community. 

 

We are a warm and friendly primary school supported well by a team of committed Governors and enthusiastic PTFA. St. Matthew’s Church is only a short walk away which we visit regularly and have weekly collective worships lead by our lovely vicar in school. We are fortunate to be surrounded by beautiful woodlands which we use for Forest School sessions and outdoor learning. 

 

We are looking for a person who:

  • is an enthusiastic and dynamic classroom practitioner with a strong commitment to high quality teaching and learning
  • is passionate about children’s learning and has high expectations of behaviour
  • is a highly motivated and innovative individual who can inspire their colleagues
  • builds excellent relationships with others, is a team player and has strong communication skills
  • understand that all behaviour is a form of communication and be able to demonstrate excellent behaviour management strategies
  • has an excellent understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
  • is creative, forward thinking and flexible in order to deliver the best for all children
  • will model our Christian values of Friendship, Respect, Achievement and Faith
  • is positive, cheerful and hardworking whilst maintaining a healthy work/life balance

Shortlisting will take place on the Monday the 24th April 2025.  

Interviews: 1st May 2025

Job start date: 1st September 2025
