We are looking to appoint an experienced inspirational Early Years Learning Support Assistant, to support the work and vision of school leaders and the key stage 1 team

This role will include working 1:1 with children with SEND, small group intervention work and general classroom support.
Your responsibilities will include;
- Supporting children’s learning and development through play, exploration, and adult-led activities.
- Encouraging social skills, independence, and confidence in young learners.
- Helping to establish clear routines that create a calm and supportive environment.
- Planning and delivering activities that promote the EYFS curriculum, in collaboration with the Teacher and in line with the ethos and approach of the classroom.
- Observing, recording, and contributing to the assessment of children’s progress.
- Supporting children with additional needs where required.
- Assisting with personal care and ensuring children’s well-being at all time.
- Have a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
What we are looking for someone with:
- A Level 3 qualification in Early Years or Childcare (desired but not essential)
- Experience of working in an early years setting.
- A commitment to safeguarding children
- A genuine love for working with young children and supporting their development.
- A caring, patient and enthusiastic approach, with a good sense of humour.
- A clear understanding of the EYFS framework and child development.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team.
- Good English, Maths and IT skills.
