Job Introduction
We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Finance Manager to develop, direct and co-ordinate our financial and administrative services.
You will need a solid understanding of finance and personnel and be committed to providing an excellent service to all stakeholders. Ideally you will have school based experience and be proficient in IT skills, SAP/IBC and Arbor, however, training and support will be provided for the right candidate. This pivotal role will involve working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Governors to support school development.
Cliddesden Primary School is a small, rural school on the outskirts of Basingstoke serving a mixed catchment of village and town families. We are an inclusive school with a dedicated team and supportive community, committed to providing high standards in education.
The successful candidate will:
- Have GCSE grade C/4 English and Maths as a minimum, ideally with financial training or qualifications.
- Be confident and proactive in school budget and financial reporting and monitoring
- Be keen to source new revenue streams to benefit all our children
- Have excellent organisational and strong communication skills
- Can communicate effectively with all stakeholders
- Enjoy working with children and have a good sense of humour
- Stay calm under pressure
- Has a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures
