Job Introduction
The Headteacher and Governing Body of Cliddesden Primary are looking to recruit a Finance Officer for our school.
This key, front line role requires a professional, efficient and enthusiastic team player.
You will need a solid understanding of finance and personnel and be committed to providing an excellent service to all stakeholders. Ideally you will have school based experience and be proficient in Arbor and SAP/IBC, however, training and support will be provided for the right candidate.
This pivotal role will involve working in close partnership with the Headteacher and Governors to support school development.
We are a small, rural school on the outskirts of Basingstoke serving a mixed catchment of village and town familes. Cliddesden is an inclusive school with a dedicated staff and supportive community, committed to providing high standards in education.
This is a part time role of 20 hours per week term time only, to be worked over three days including Wednesdays 8.30am to 4.00pm.
The successful candidate will:
- Have GCSE grade C English and Maths as a minimum and good IT skills
- Be confident and proactive in school budgets, financial reporting and monitoring
- Have excellent organisational skills
- Have strong communication skills
- Be confident in liaising with colleagues, children, parents, governors and outside agencies
- Enjoy working with children and have a good sense of humour
