Bishop Challoner is a very popular, oversubscribed and successful school serving the Community of Basingstoke and the surrounding area. We seek to serve families who wish to educate their children in a faith school.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, dedicated Technician to work within our Food and Nutrition department. This is an exciting role, supporting both the teaching staff and students in this very popular subject.
The ideal candidate may have previous experience working in a similar role and/or a passion for food with a desire to share this with our young people. They will be responsible for the organisation, ordering and day to day running of the classroom and associated spaces. So, more importantly they will have excellent planning and time management skills to efficiently carry out these key responsibilities:
- operation and maintenance of the well-stocked and equipped teaching spaces
- timely and effective preparation and delivery of ingredients, equipment and resources
- controlling stock and placing orders
- providing support during lessons
