  • Resource and Equipment Management: Advise on the deployment of specialist equipment and ensure resources are readily available.
  • Support and Develop Others: Lead, advise, and support Learning Support Assistants (LSAs) during Forest School activities, acting as a specialist in your area of expertise.
  • Maintain Compliance: Stay abreast of school, national, and statutory policies linked to Forest School accreditation and apply these requirements diligently.
  • Independent Practice: Work unsupervised, implementing lesson plans, managing pupil behaviour, and making judgments about pupil progress and needs.

What You'll Bring:

  • Forest School Accreditation: Hold a recognised Forest School Accreditation.
  • Level 2 HLTA Qualification: Possess a Level 2 HLTA qualification, demonstrating your training and expertise in supporting and developing staff.
  • Passion for Nature: A genuine love for the outdoors and a strong belief in its power to positively impact children's development.
  • Independent and Proactive: Ability to work autonomously, manage your time effectively, and take initiative.
  • Excellent Communication Skills: Ability to engage effectively with children, colleagues, and parents.
  • Behaviour Management Skills: Proven ability to manage pupil behaviour in an outdoor setting.

If you're ready to make a real difference in children's lives by fostering their connection with nature, we encourage you to apply!
