Hiltingbury Junior School is a dynamic and forward-thinking learning community. We are seeking a passionate HLTA to join our supportive teaching team from the 1st September. This is an excellent opportunity for someone with experience or aspiring to gain the HLTA qualification to make a difference in our children’s lives. The ideal candidate will be a dedicated and enthusiastic individual with a passion for supporting children's learning and development.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver planned lessons and provide whole-class cover daily
Deliver high quality support in the classroom
Promote engagement, motivation, and positive behaviour in the classroom.
Work closely with the teaching teams to monitor children’s progress and provide feedback
Support children with diverse needs, ensuring every child is given the opportunity to succeed
Ideal candidate:
Shows a passion for teaching and learning and supporting all children to achieve their best;
Demonstrates positivity, motivation and drive;
Has high expectations of achievement and behaviour for all children;
Is a team player with excellent communication skills;
Is reflective and Is able to work using their own initiative, as well as proactively as part of a team;
Has high aspirations for themselves and others;
Is committed to safeguarding and the welfare and wellbeing of the school community
