Job/Person Summary
The community of Locks Heath Infant School are looking to appoint an inspirational HLTA in a permanent part time position. This rare opportunity cannot be missed and is the perfect job for someone who is looking to make a real difference to our children’s lives. The successful candidate will cover teachers for development release time, PPA and absence.

The successful candidate will:
· Hold the HLTA status or have equivalent experience
· Have a secure knowledge of EYFS and the National Curriculum (Primary), with recent Infant School experience.
· Demonstrate excellent numeracy and literacy skills with GCSE English and maths or equivalent.
· Have a caring and empathetic approach to all children, with a positive approach to behaviour management.
· Have good organisational and communication skills, and consistently high expectations of achievement for all pupils.
· Have a good understanding of confidentiality and safeguarding procedures.
· Be flexible, adaptable, be able to work independently and as part of a team.
The ideal candidate will have experience working with whole classes at Infant School age.
