Job Introduction
We have an exciting opportunity for a highly motivated Higher Level Teaching Assistant to work across EYFS, KS1 and KS2 classes to cover PPA and teacher release time. This role commences on 1st September 2026. Come and join our caring and nurturing school. We are looking for an individual who:
- Has previous experience of working within a classroom setting alongside the teacher
- Has good literacy and numeracy skills (GCSE Maths and English Grade C or equivalent)
- Has an ability to use ICT effectively to support learning
- Has experience of working with groups of children
- Wants the very best for all pupils
- Has a ‘can do’ attitude with high aspirations for themselves and children
- Is resilient, flexible and resourceful
- Holds a relevant HLTA qualification
- Enjoys working with colleagues in a school with a strong team ethos
