West Meon is a small friendly village school with a very dedicated, happy and supportive staff team. We value continuing professional and personal development and staff training is a key part of school ethos. We are currently developing our outside learning environment and this is an exciting to join us and work alongside our inspirational teachers.
Our passionate team work with a child centred approach to promote good outcomes for all children. We are looking for a friendly, flexible and professional person to work in our school, facilitating the learning for children throughout the primary age phase. The post involves working with individual or groups of children, assisting in ensuring pupils are kept on task and complete activities set by teachers and supporting class teachers to provide high quality inclusive teaching for all. We pride ourselves in being a fully inclusive school and support children with a variety of additional needs. We are looking for someone who works well as part of a team and really wants to make a difference in the lives of children.
The successful candidate will be supporting children in KS2 and facilitating learning in our new continuous provision environment in KS1 and Early Years. There is a high confidentiality component in education and you will be holding the trust and confidence of both the pupils and teachers.

Be able to support learning in line with the primary curriculum

Clearly understand confidentiality and safeguarding in a school setting
The successful candidate will be part of the school team and must relate well with both pupils and adults. They should be prepared to make a difference in the lives of our children. Our Teaching Assistants are an integral part of our team and have a considerable impact on the children in our care.
