Job/Person Summary
Oakley Infant School is seeking a dynamic and inspirational Headteacher to lead our warm, inclusive village school. We are looking for a leader who can build on our strengths and continue to nurture positive relationships with pupils, families and the wider community.
You will be a visible and approachable leader who champions high‑quality teaching and learning, supports staff development and ensures every child feels safe, confident and motivated. Strong safeguarding knowledge, inclusive practice and the ability to uphold high expectations are essential, alongside a commitment to meeting the needs of all learners.
This is an exciting opportunity to shape the next chapter of a thriving school with a recent ‘Good’ Ofsted rating, including several ‘Outstanding’ areas. You will provide clear strategic direction, manage resources effectively and work closely with governors and staff to maintain our inclusive, ambitious learning environment.

Selection Procedure
The shortlist will be drawn up on 14th April and the selection process will take place on 23rd and 24th April. Further details will be sent to those candidates called for interview. Applicants will be advised after the shortlisting date whether they have been successful.
