Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA)

Job Introduction

We are looking for a Higher Level Teaching Assistant (HLTA) to join our school on a part time basis, working three afternoons per week term time only + INSET days. This role may be suitable to combine with one of our other vacancies.

We are looking for someone who:

is enthusiastic and motivated
is able to establish caring and supportive relationships with children
can communicate effectively with both adults and children
can support children in the classroom setting as well as during small group work and on an individual basis where needed
can provide learning activities for classes and deliver lessons, under the professional direction and supervision of a qualified teacher
can provide whole class cover.
