We are a large, friendly, three form entry infant school. We work closely with a number of other local schools and also with our linked junior school with whom we share the same site.
We are situated near to Waterlooville and were rated by Ofsted in March 2019. GOOD with significant improvements in all area in a non-graded revisit in January 2025
We have a friendly staff, offer regular CPD opportunities and work hard to treat all our children as individuals and to provide them with the best possible provision.
We are looking to appoint an enthusiastic, highly motivated and diligent class teacher to join our committed and professional team from September 2026. The post is offered initially on a one‑year contract, with the potential for extension.
Application Procedure
We are looking for someone who:
- Will be a committed class teacher and so ensure that their class experiences consistency
- Has good behaviour management skills
- Is flexible and able to use their initiative
- Can prioritise effectively and keep things in perspective
- Can deliver the curriculum creatively
- Is a good team player and effective communicator
- Uses accurate assessment to inform planning and personalise the learning thereby ensuring good progress for all children
