Abbotswood Junior School, the largest junior school in Hampshire with over 600 children (5/6 form entry), is looking for a KS2 Teacher from 1st September 2026. Abbotswood is ideally situated on the edge of the beautiful New Forest and within close proximity of the bustling city of Southampton.
We are a ‘happy school with so much on offer and pupils love school life’ (Ofsted). With large fields, open spaces and a purpose-built sports hall, we have a pleasant environment in which to work and we also have a very cute school dog - Tommy!
Leaders also recognise the hard work of its staff and everyone receives a ‘Thank You’ day to be taken at any time during the school year!
The position is suitable for either an ECT or experienced teacher.
Visits to the school are encouraged and welcomed.
