Job Introduction
We are looking to appoint an excellent, experienced and highly motivated primary teaching assistant to join our incredible school. This is an exciting opportunity to be part of a supportive, friendly, and innovative team that has children at its centre. The post is offered on a permanent contract.
We are seeking someone who:
- Is passionate about creating an ethos where every child feels that they can be incredible,
- Has GCSE in Maths and English grade C or above,
- Is an effective practitioner who understands how to motivate, engage and inspire learning and development for all children,
- Is confident with the knowledge and subject demands of the KS2 curriculum,
- Is focused on building powerful relationships with children based on trust, respect, warmth and fun,
- Has high expectations for all children and is committed to creating learning experiences that secure great outcomes, and foster independence.
- Is able to demonstrate high levels of flexibility and adaptability (often at very short notice),
- Is a highly effective team player, who can engage effectively with staff, leaders, parents, governors and outside agencies,
- Actively takes part in all aspects of school life and the local community,
- Is well organised, self-disciplined and can prioritise and manage their workload efficiently,
- Has a flexible approach to school life.
