About the Role
We are looking for someone who has experience of working with children with Special Educational Needs (SEN) and who can provide calm, consistent and nurturing support to help a child access learning and achieve their individual targets.The successful candidate will:
- Have previous experience of working with children with SEN.
- Be flexible, patient and calm in their approach.
- Work closely with the class teacher, SENCO and external professionals.
- Deliver interventions and support programmes as directed.
- Work from the child's learning plan to help them meet agreed targets.
- Maintain the highest standards of confidentiality and professionalism.
- Be willing to attend relevant training and professional development opportunities.
- Develop positive relationships with children, staff and families.
