Berrywood Primary School is a large, vibrant and welcoming primary school with a strong reputation for providing an exciting, creative and nurturing learning environment for all children.

We are seeking enthusiastic, caring and committed support staff (LSA2 Grade C) to join our friendly and dedicated staff team. This is an excellent opportunity to become part of a school community where collaboration, innovation and high expectations underpin everything we do.

At Berrywood, we pride ourselves on delivering an engaging and creative curriculum that inspires curiosity, develops independence and encourages every child to achieve their full potential. Our unique "School Within a Garden" ethos places outdoor learning, wellbeing and a strong connection with nature at the heart of school life, creating a stimulating environment in which both children and staff thrive.

The successful candidates may work:

  • As part of a class team, supporting teaching and learning across the curriculum.
  • Providing more specialist support through targeted small-group interventions.
  • Offering individual support for pupils with additional learning needs.

We are ideally looking for full-time appointments; however, we recognise the value that experienced and talented support staff bring to our school and are happy to consider part-time arrangements for particularly strong candidates.

We are looking for colleagues who:

  • Have a genuine passion for supporting children's learning and development.
  • Build positive relationships with pupils, families and colleagues.
  • Are flexible, proactive and able to work effectively as part of a team.
  • Share our commitment to inclusion, high expectations and ensuring every child succeeds.

In return, we offer:

  • A supportive and welcoming staff team.
  • Opportunities for professional development and career progression.
  • A creative and innovative learning environment.
  • The chance to work in a school where wellbeing, outdoor learning and children's experiences are highly valued.

If you are enthusiastic about making a difference in children's lives and would like to join our thriving school community, we would love to hear from you.

Part-time hours will be considered for strong candidates.

Visits to the school are warmly welcomed and encouraged. Please contact the school office to arrange a visit and experience first-hand what makes Berrywood such a great place to work.
