Learning Support Assistant (Fixed Term – Summer Term)
Hours: 8:30am – 12:30pm, Monday to Friday (20.5 hours per week)
Contract: Fixed Term – Summer Term
Start Date: April 2026 (or as soon as possible)
Berrywood Primary School is seeking to appoint a caring, enthusiastic and committed Learning Support Assistant to join our team for the Summer Term.
The successful candidate will work alongside class teachers to support pupils’ learning, both individually and in small groups, helping to ensure all children can access the curriculum and make good progress.

The role will include:
Supporting pupils with their learning in the classroom
Working with individuals and small groups of children
Assisting the class teacher with learning activities
Helping to create a positive, inclusive and supportive learning environment
We are looking for someone who:
Enjoys working with children and supporting their development
Is patient, positive and able to build good relationships with pupils
Works well as part of a team
Has good communication and organisational skills
Has experience of working with primary-aged children (desirable but not essential)
This position is fixed-term for the Summer Term.
