We are currently seeking to appoint class based Learning Support Assistants for our junior school, and are looking for candidates with particular skills and experience in delivering interventions, but who are also patient and caring with clear expectations of behaviour. They will be working closely with the SENDCo and class teacher.

We are looking for somebody who:
- Is conscientious, enthusiastic, patient and flexible
- Has good time management with effective organisational skills
- Is able to work independently to deliver interventions
- Demonstrates good interpersonal skills with children and adults
- Has effective communication skills
- Is experienced in delivering support programmes, including speech and language work
- Can keep detailed records and provide feedback to staff and parents
- Is able to work independently and with initiative
- Is a committed team member
- Commit to the role to help the pupil on a day to day basis
